Hi Everyone
I get loads of messages asking how I get my hair to look so blonde and what blonde products do I use so I thought Id write a little blog post with a few pictures that show my transition.
The picture above is my prom picture. My natural colour is mousey blonde. I wanted to start going blonder so my mum let me have a few golden highlights put through my hair for my prom. I'm not a big fan of this picture as it reminds me of a time when I had naturally long hair. It was down to the middle of my back. I didn't use any treatments nor posh products I guess natural hair is healthy enough so it just grows and grows!
This was taken two years after my prom. I continued to have regular highlights after my prom. I had three different shades Bleach, Honey and a Light Brown put through my hair monthly. As you can see I also had all of my lovely long hair chopped off! I started using
Bedheads Dumb Blonde Shampoo/Conditioner
I also started using Aussies 3 Minute Miracle treatment
This pic is my hair now. (Sailor is gonna kill me for this photograph) I have full head foils with just bleach. I have it weaved in and slices. My hair is still shoulder length but I always wear extensions! Id be lost without them! My hair is not in the best condition but I do try and use as many products as possible to try and help my poor locks. I love being bleached blonde however the maintenance of bleach blonde is a lot more than i anticipated. Within 2 weeks my roots are coming through, my ends are dry and sometimes I get brassy tones.
I always swap and change my hair products to see what product will work best.
I cannot fault these products though:
Schwarzkopf Moisture Kick Shampoo
Schwarzkopf Moisture Kick Conditioner
Aussies Miracle Treatment
Moroccan Oil
Redken Blonde Glam Colour Enhancer (purple shampoo to get rid of brassy tones)
Schwarzkopf Repair/Rescue Split Ends
Esti foarte frumoasa!

I tried t be blond, but I didn't have enough patience to wait that ugly orange tones disappear and I turn it into my natural chocolate brown again.

Blonde hair is so hard to maintain! Theres not many people around with bright blonde, naturally long hair, not that I know anyway. I used to be that colour and when I dyed my hair brown it magically started to grow!
